Donna Wimpenny
Donna began her dental nursing career in 2003 after caring for adults with varying levels of learning disabilities for 3 years.
Donna worked in Private practice for 5 years where she gained her qualification in Dental Nursing and got promoted to assistant Practice Manger before heading off to go travelling with her partner in 2008. What was supposed to be a year long adventure, turned into almost 8 years, before returning back to the UK.
During her time away she travelled around Asia and Australasia. Donna lived and worked in New Zealand for 3 years before going to Thailand on her way home, where she ended up staying for 2years, finding work as a wedding planner on the beautiful island of Koh Samui.
On arriving back to the UK, she set up home in Norfolk before returning to the local area in 2017 when their first grandchild was born. Last year, Donna got married and she made the decision to return back to dentistry, the profession that she is passionate about. Donna is happy to be working for the NHS as a dental nurse at Desborough Dental.
