Dr Mobeen Farooq BDS
After graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2017, Mobeen moved back to his hometown in London to work in a mixed NHS and Private practice, before joining Desborough Dental. Mobeen practices all aspects of general dentistry, including cosmetic orthodontics; the use of clear aligners or braces to restore healthy, natural-looking smiles. The opportunity to offer a holistic service to his patients is one which he thoroughly enjoys, and it is one of the main reasons why Mobeen, decided to pursue a career in general dental practice.
Mobeen knows that visiting the dentist can be a nerve-racking experience for many patients. That is why he believes in honest and ethical treatment planning, only offering options which he would be comfortable having himself or offering to his family. Mobeen keep up to date with advances in minimally-invasive dentistry and regularly goes to courses to hone in on his skills. Mobeen is a great believer of offering an exemplary standard of care
to all his patients.

Best achievement to date?
Learning to ski. Although after ending up in hospital the last time I went, it is fair to say I have a long way to go before mastering it...
Dream destination?
The Caribbean (for the beaches), Far East Asia (for the food) and an African safari (for the lions).
What one item would you take into the jungle, if asked to do "I'm a dentist, get me out of here"?
Indomie Mi Goreng instant noodles - I survived dental school because of these seasoned, savoury packs of pure joy.
